Deputy Commander of Eastern District (EDIST) Yau Sin-man and officers of EDIST paid a visit to Hong Kong Sanatorium & Hospital Eastern Medical Centre on July 16. Dr Lau Chor-chiu, the Chief Operating Officer of the centre as well as managers of security, engineering, nursing and corporate communications introduced various security measures and medical equipment in the centre. Both medical and police personnel exchanged their views and shared their concerns, which fostered direct communication and mutual understanding.

The Police thanked all medical and healthcare officers for their dedication to safeguarding the health of Hong Kong people amid the outbreak of COVID-19.

Representatives of the medical centre introduce various security measures and medical equipment of the centre to EDIST officers.
