The New Territories South (NTS) Regional Headquarters and Hong Kong Red Cross Blood Transfusion Service (BTS) co-organised a Blood Donation Day on May 29. Sixty officers from different units participated in the event and donated 55 bags of blood.

One of the participants, Police Constable Ah Hang, received a certificate from BTS on the spot in recognition of his contribution in donating blood for five times. He said, “This is the second time I donated blood in an event organised by the Force. I donate blood regularly as it is a meaningful way in saving lives. I advise donors to take a good rest and drink plenty of fluids before donating blood.”
