The Police Staff Suggestions Scheme (PSSS) encourages the submission of quality suggestions to improve operational and management workflows. It not only serves as a channel for pooling ideas to improve work efficiency, but also opens doors to develop officers’ innovative potential.
The Force appreciates officers’ dedication and initiative in identifying areas for improvement and submitting feasible suggestions over the years. Every effort contributes to streamlining work practices and enhancing the service delivery of the Force. The results of PSSS 2019 are available on the Force Noticeboard. The submissions of Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards are listed below:
Level of Award | Submission |
Gold Award | Revise the length of cordon tape to one metre per lattice to allow rough estimation of distance after cordon |
Silver Award | Replace the screws of vehicle protective screen with tamper-proof screws |
Bronze Award | Improve Case Management and Investigation System (CMIS) detention movement record so that the calculation of detention period is counted on AP-based instead of RN-based |
