With a view to raising the awareness of COVID-19 prevention and expressing care for the non-ethnic Chinese (NEC) community, the Police Community Relations Office of Mong Kok District (PCRO MKDIST), together with the NEC members of “Project Ring”, visited the shops opened by NEC and conducted home visits to NEC residents in MKDIST on April 14.

During the visits, officers of PCRO MKDIST and “Project Ring” members handed out leaflets carrying anti-epidemic information translated into Urdu as well as supplies such as surgical masks and hand sanitisers to NEC community members. Crime prevention leaflets were also distributed to disseminate fight crime messages and NEC residents were reminded to step up home security in order to prevent burglary.
