Officers of the Regional Crime Prevention Office of Hong Kong Island (RCPO HKI) visited some major pet gardens on Hong Kong Island on March 19 and distributed leaflets promoting welfare and care for animals to residents and pet owners, so as to raise their awareness against cruelty to animals and encourage them to report suspected cruelty to animal cases.

In support of the Force’s Animal Watch Scheme, RCPO HKI will continue to organise different activities through various channels to enhance awareness of animal protection among members of the public and strengthen their knowledge of being a responsible pet owner.
