The first annual Indoor Tug of War Competition took place at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on October 28. Over 130 elite players from the Force and other disciplined forces competed in teams of two, four or eight members.

After vigorous competition, New Territories South Region won the eight-man event in 600 kilograms weight class while the Force team won the championship of the inter-disciplined service event.

Chairman of the Police Tug of War Club Mr Shum Lap-chi thanked all the athletes for their participation, and hoped they would continue to join tug of war contests.
