In a final match of the Disciplined Services Tennis Tournament held on April 23, the Police Tennis Team beat long-time rival Fire Services Department (FSD) and defended championship for the ninth year in a row.

The match took place at the Disciplined Services Sports and Recreation Club, with the attendance of heads of the disciplined services and other distinguished guests. The Police Tennis Team beat the FSD team by 5-4, and received the champion trophy from a sponsor of the tournament, Mr Richard Tang.

Chairman of Police Tennis Club Mr Mok Hing-wing said that Police Tennis Team members have enhanced their standard with hard training, delivering excellent performances in the tournament in recent years. He encouraged other Force members to join the club to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
