Regional Commander of Kowloon West (KW) Cheuk Hau-yip presided over the 18th Inauguration Ceremony of the Kowloon West Youth-Care Committee (KWYCC) at Kowloon City Plaza on April 12. This showed KW Region's support for KWYCC in rendering youth care services.

KW Region and KWYCC have worked closely together over the years in an endeavour to help local youngsters. They encourage the youngsters to develop positive life values through recreation and sports activities, counselling and supportive services.

Mr Cheuk presented certificates of appointment to the new Chairman of KWYCC Mr Chan Kin-ping, Vice-chairperson Ms Ng Yin-mui and 27 KWYCC Presidents. The KWYCC Presidents expressed their gratitude to all working partners for their support and paid tribute to the KW Youth-Care Volunteer Services Team for their selfless contribution.

In the year ahead, KW Region will keep up its efforts to work with local stakeholders to offer services to more youths-in-need.
