The elections of the Executive Committee of the Junior Police Officers' Association (JPOA Ex-Co) and the Executive Committee of the Hong Kong Police Inspectors' Association (HKPIA Ex-Co) for 2018-2020 were completed in late March and late April respectively.

Twenty-two junior police officers were elected as JPOA Ex-Co members whilst 23 inspectorate officers contested for 12 posts in the HKPIA Ex-Co, including the chairmanship and vice-chairmanship.

Notwithstanding the keen competition, the elections were conducted in a fair, just and open manner. The new JPOA Ex-Co members have assumed office from May 4. On the other hand, HKPIA will hold an Annual General Meeting on May 18, during which the results of the election will be ratified and the new HKPIA Ex-Co is expected to take up office from June 1.
