Thirty-two members of the Force Swimming Team saw their hard work pay off as they pocketed eight Gold, 14 Silver and 11 Bronze medals in 16 individual and relay events in all age groups at the Long Course Masters Swimming Championships organised by the Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association at Tung Chung Swimming Pool on May 14.

The competition also provided an opportunity for the Police Swimming Club to select elites to attend a series of upcoming international competitions, including the World Police and Fire Games to be held in Los Angeles in August.

Chairman of the club Mr Ho Ka-fei commended the team for their superb performance and hoped they would build on the success of the event in the upcoming competitions.
