The Knowledge Café on "Experience-sharing by DCs and ex-Promotion Board Members" drew a full house of some 70 frontline supervisory officers at the Police Headquarters on March 29. Wan Chai District Commander (DC) Kan Kai-yan and Airport DC Kwok Ka-chuen were invited to share their insights and management experience as DCs, and explain the expectations of promotion board members on the quality of frontline supervisory officers.

The Knowledge Café adopted a hybrid mode of integrating speakers' presentations with an interactive forum. After the two DCs shared their insights on some hot topics, the attendees were encouraged to raise questions and interact with them. The audience showed keen interest about the speakers' tips on how to lead and coach teammates.
