Superintendent Tsang Chiu-tong and Chief Inspector Tsang Chun-pong of the Recruit Training Division, School of Foundation Training of the Police College, attended an exchange programme hosted by the Police Academy of the Netherlands from October 10 to 14.

The Netherlands police authorities shared with the two officers and other counterparts from different jurisdictions their police training system. Also, the participants visited various training facilities to exchange views with the Netherlands training staff on the application of technology, critical incident management and forensic training. Apart from the two officers from Hong Kong, 16 representatives from Belgium, Spain, Russia, Indonesia and the Philippines joined the programme.

The Force delegates were inspired by the police training system in the Netherlands, and had made use of the visit to consolidate their relationship with other participating parties.
