Police basketball fun day
A total of 24 teams took part in a Police Basketball Fun Day held at the Police Sports and Recreation Club on Mothers' Day.
Organised as part of the healthy lifestyle campaign, the teams comprised serving officers and their children.
The fun day competitors were divided into four groups, namely Men's Open, Women's Open, Children Intermediate and Children Junior.
After a series of games, the teams known as the "Friends", "124", "Net" and "White Tigers" took the titles respectively.
Thirty of the players also participated in a free throw contest to vie for the Best Shooter Award.
PC Lau Ho-chuen of Marine South Division took the award by successfully netting the ball 10 times out of a total of 25 throws.
Meanwhile, a total of 22 officers from Yau Ma Tei Division, led by the Divisional Commander, Mr Wong Wai-fung, took part in an outdoor walk at Tai Lam Country Park last month, in support of the healthy lifestyle campaign.
