Police policy on child abuse cases
Inspector Myron Ng of Television and Film Liaison Section of Police Public Relations Branch, at the invitation of End Child Sexual Abuse Foundation, gave a talk on Police policy and procedures in handling child abuse cases at the opening of a publicity campaign against child abuse on May 20.
Mr Ng also focused on the government multi-disciplinary approach in handling such cases so as to further arouse public awareness of the problem.
Other celebrities who participated in the event were the Chairperson of the Foundation, Ms Siao Fong-fong, and a number of popular artistes including Mr Leslie Cheung and Miss Karen Morris.
