Well known community leaders from Central and Western District, accompanied by Central District Commander, Mr Wong Pak-nin, last month paid a visit to the Police Tactical Training Complex in Aberdeen.

They included the Chairman of the Central and Western District Council, Mr Wu Chor-nam; Chairman of the Central and Western District Fight Crime Committee, Mr Chan Hay; Chairman of the Central District Junior Police Call Honorary President's Council, Mr Lam Chek-yau, and 14 members of other committees.

They visited various facilities in the Complex, and were shown simulated scenes of crimes and demonstration of tactics in handling armed robbers.

"The visit has given us an insight of an important Police facility for the purpose of training officers to sharpen their ability to fight crime. It would also help to step up effective communication and cooperation between the Force and the public," one of the visitors told OffBeat.
