The Police Officers' Club recently bid farewell to its longest serving staff member, Mr Edmund Luk.

Mr Luk first arrived at the Club in 1987 and was initially posted to run the Wine Shop, but over the years he has found himself working as a Club Supervisor, Barrack Assistant and Club Co-ordinator.

Assistant Manager of POC, Mr Robbie McRobbie, told OffBeat that many members thought that Mr Luk was one of the assistant managers.

He added: "Edmund has been a fantastic help to the Club for over 15 years, and I'm sure all members will miss his helpfulness, politeness, and cheeky grin!"

Mr Luk, reflecting back on his career, noted: "I have very much enjoyed my time at POC, and it has given me the chance to meet and assist a lot of interesting people over the years - including TV stars, singers, and even a Miss Hong Kong. I shall take away many happy memories of the Force and all the club members."

POC wishes Mr Luk a long and happy retirement.
