Regional Commander of New Territories South (NTS) Lui Hon-kwok presented certificates to the winners of a Video Competition on "If I were a Detective" on March 2. The event was organised by NTS Regional Committee on Complaints Prevention (RCCP) to remind officers to be vigilant against complaints.


A total of 11 entries were received from uniformed and crime officers. An adjudication panel, comprising Chairman of RCCP NTS Mr Steven Heathcote, Company Commander of NTS Police Tactical Unit Tam Nga-ching, Ma On Shan Divisional Commander Wong Tsz-bun and Chief Inspector Fong Shuk-yi from the Complaints Against Police Office, selected Task Force Sub-unit of Kwai Chung Division as the champion. The winner's video clip are played on training days and has been uploaded to the website of RCCP NTS.


Meanwhile, NTS Road Safety Office staged the "Sharp Smart Elderly Pedestrian Safety Campaign" at Tsuen Wan Town Hall on February 9. Over 1 000 senior citizens took part in the event, which featured drama and a quiz on road safety, Cantonese opera, golden oldies and performance by Police Band.


Mr Lui officiated at the event with Superintendent of Traffic NTS Chan Hoi-kong, District Officer (Tsuen Wan) Ms Yip Kam-ching, Chairman of Traffic and Transport Committee of Tsuen Wan District Council Mr Lo Siu-kit, New Territories South Regional Commander of Hong Kong Road Safety Patrol Mr Lee Kar-ki, a member of Kwai Tsing District Senior Police Call Committee Mr Yip Cheung-chun, and a member of Tsuen Wan District Fight Crime Committee Mr Chan Yee-kwong.
