The Police Squash Club (PSC) received the trophies last December for winning double championships in the Summer League 2016 organised by Hong Kong Squash from June to September. Police team 1 was crowned champion by winning 11 straight games in Division Four of the league while Police team 2 captured the championship in Division Seven after 10 rounds of throat-cutting matches.

It is extraordinary for two teams to win the championship in the same tournament. This reflected the team members' high standard of squash and their team spirit. The members of Police team 1 included Police Constable (PC) Chan Kwok-ming, PC So Sing-yan, PC Chan Wing-ki, retired officer Leung Chi-man and Associate Member Ko Ho-yin; and Police team 2 comprised Chief Inspector Kong Yiu-kai, Inspector Chan Wai-kwong, PC Leung Man-wah, PC Tam Chiu-wai, and retired officers Mak Kam-yuen and Li Kin-wah.

The Chairman of the PSC, Chief Inspector Kong Yiu-kai, said that after continuous practice, the team members achieved good results in several tournaments. He encouraged Force members to join the PSC to support squash activities and to maintain a healthy lifestyle. For details, please contact Chan Kwok-ming on 6199-4744 or Chan Wing-ki on 6420-0064.
