Vice-chairman of Wong Tai Sin District Council Mr Lai Wing-ho, accompanied by a group of local District Councillors, Messrs Kan Chi-ho, Ho Hon-man, Yuen Kwok-keung and Wong Yat-yuk as well as community leaders, presented tapestry banners to Wong Tai Sin District (WTSDIST) Commander James Betts and his team on January 17 in appreciation of their professionalism and high efficiency in maintaining law and order in the district. Mr Betts thanked the guests for their continued support and trust, and reiterated the importance of co-operation between the Force and the community in fighting crime.

Acting on a piece of intelligence provided by the Police Community Relations Office, officers of the District Special Duty Squad of WTSDIST arrested a man for "Trafficking in a Dangerous Drug" last December. Besides, in a burglary case that happened last November, officers of the Task Force Sub-unit of WTSDIST arrested the burglar the day after the incident.
