Senior Leaders Exit Debriefing Series

Deputy Director 2 of the Police College cum former Force Chief Knowledge Champion Dr Cheng Tak-ming held a heart-to-heart talk with over 80 officers in the Senior Leaders Exit Debriefing Series on January 13. He shared his valuable policing experiences and management skills gained over his 30-year police career and as commanders at different levels.

Dr Cheng also talked about how he drove Knowledge Management (KM) in the Force, which landed a number of locally and internationally acclaimed KM awards - the Most Admired Knowledge Enterprise - in 2009, 2013 and 2016 respectively. He introduced the model of Force Leadership Compass, highlighting the importance of leadership, attention to details and, most importantly, how each individual, being unique and having different strengths and personality, could contribute to the Force.

Dr Cheng spoke on the three stages of "learning, value-adding and giving back to the community" as the concluding remarks, and wished all the participants a happy and successful career in the Force.
